Since a young age, I have always been very passionate about sports and staying active. I come from a family of multisport athletes, so was hooked on sport from the get-go. Consequently, when I discovered physiotherapy as a career option, I was sold, as I could learn more about the human body, and assist people reach their full potential and achieve their goals. Throughout my four years of study at the University of Otago, I developed a deep appreciation for the human body and systems, studying a broad range of anatomy, physiology, and specific physiotherapy skills.
I have a strong interest in running, mountain and road cycling and adventure sports, such as kayaking, surfing and skiing; all sports that I like to participate in. Additionally, I have been involved in rugby, field hockey, and football; all areas exciting to work with.
I enjoy working with all activity levels and conditions; from helping rehab injuries, assisting to optimise posture, and working to maximise work potential. At Muscle People Physiotherapy, we strive to provide a holistic approach towards patient treatment, adapting our treatment to each patient’s needs.
