I discovered my passion for physiotherapy at a young age. I was amazed at how the teamwork between the physiotherapist and client helped restore the ability to carry out purposeful and meaningful movements again. This inspired me to complete my Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Otago. As a physiotherapist I find my job very rewarding. One of the most rewarding parts is when clients understand how the way they were moving beforehand contributed towards their current injury, and how through these exercises they are able to be in control of their own rehab.
When you see me, you can expect me to take a holistic approach to your healthcare. This means that I will treat the entire body, as well as other contributing factors rather than just your injury. Our body is all connected therefore if one joint or muscle is slightly out of time when we move, it can affect other parts of our body too.
Outside of work I love getting amongst the outdoors. Some of my hobbies include running, tramping, tennis, skiing and baking. I am originally from the North Island so every chance I get I am exploring the beautiful scenery here in the South Island. I look forward to meeting you and working with you to develop a rehab plan customised to your needs.
