About Lee

I have always had a passion for science, human anatomy and how the body functions and moves, making a career in physiotherapy seemed fitting for me. I enjoy helping people understand how their injury has occurred and taking a holistic approach to their treatment. At Muscle People we look at the whole body and address any other contributing factors that may be linked to your pain. With the use of our wide range of facilities and classes we endeavour to enhance your performance and prevent further injury.

I obtained my Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Otago. My 4 years of training really confirmed my passion for working with people and helping them work towards and achieve their goals. I get a real buzz out of seeing the joy on my clients faces when you can help ease their pain or take their performance to the next level. It is hugely rewarding seeing others exceed their goals and be able to return to their hobbies they love. Here at Muscle people we have a great team and environment to help you get back on your feet, whether that be on the sports field or just getting to the grocery store.

Outside of work I like to keep myself active and enjoy the outdoors. In the warmer months I'll be on the water, or walking and exploring our backyard. In the winter you'll find me up the mountain skiing or snowboarding. I enjoy keeping myself fit in the gym and have been involved in many sports over the years, such as netball, tennis and hockey.
