About Jaclyn

I love sport! I have played handball at a national and international level for five years and I am proud to wear the silver fern as captain of the New Zealand Women’s Handball team. I grew up playing all different kinds of sports and I spent my fair share of time on the physio table. Now I play netball and basketball at a club level alongside the NZ Women’s Handball team. I am the physio for the New Zealand U19 and U20 Handball teams and I’ve travelled with them to Argentina and Bulgaria to compete in international competitions - so I know how frustrating it is to sit on the sideline and watch your goals slip away.

I worked with Muscle People Physio as a new graduate and then went to work in the UK for 3 years, returning to New Zealand in 2016 to head up the team at our new Wigram Skies clinic. I enjoy the variety of clients we see at Wigram from the weekend warriors to athletes and everyday people. At Wigram, we work as part of a multi-disciplinary team with GPs, a Podiatrist and Traditional Chinese Medicine on site as well as full-service Radiology and Radiologists upstairs. We have an intensive programme of continuing education here at Muscle People so we are continually expanding our knowledge with the latest updates and techniques so we can always provide the best possible care to our clients.
