About Rosie

I was drawn to physiotherapy from my interest of the human body, how it moves and recovers from injury, as well as my passion for connecting and working with people. Having competed as a gymnast for 10 years, I am honoured to have represented New Zealand internationally. The high demand on my body as a gymnast meant I was a frequent flyer to the physio, sparking my initial interest in physiotherapy. Once I finished competing, I coached gymnastics; seeing gymnasts grow as athletes and have success affirmed my love of working alongside people to achieve goals and reach their full potential.

My time studying at Otago University further confirmed that physiotherapy is the ultimate job for me as it involves so many enjoyable aspects of my life. Being a part of the expert team at Muscle People allows me to further my skills as physiotherapist and strive for excellence in my work.

Outside of the clinic I spend time keeping active through running, going to the gym or exploring different parts of the country by walking and tramping. I also enjoy catching up and socialising with my friends and family.
