Laurie Moore

Even after 30 years of being a physio, I am passionate about physiotherapy and l love what I do.  I’m privileged to have a role which gives me the ability to have such a positive impact on my clients' health and lives.

Muscle People Physio has grown from setting up on my own, to a team with three clinics in Christchurch aligned with physiotherapy clinics internationally.  Building and leading our fantastic staff team of 20 gives me enormous satisfaction.  Watching them grow and develop is what drives me.  I’m well supported by my husband and business partner Grant, our Board, and management and admin staff - we definitely work together as a team.

I have worked in many different areas of physiotherapy in my career.  I enjoy the challenge of clients with complex or difficult conditions.  I love to help people, to improve their life, especially if what they’ve tried already hasn’t worked.  Alongside our sprains, strains and pains, I see a lot of clients with brain injuries and concussions, Parkinson’s, and headaches and migraines.

At Muscle People Physio we are able to provide you with more than you might expect from a physiotherapy clinic.  By aligning ourselves with international clinics we offer the latest in research-based treatment programmes for back and core stability, Parkinson’s Disease, Functional Training and headaches and migraine treatment.  Exceeding expectations is what we thrive on.  Taking you from pain, back to function and then on to out-perform where you started, is what we do best.
