About Kate

I am passionate about sports and am a people person, enjoying interacting and communicating with all ages. This led me to choose a career in physiotherapy, gaining my degree at the University of Otago.

I enjoy the challenge and diversity that a Physiotherapy career provides and it’s constant learning environment. I believe Physiotherapy is a very fast paced and growing profession that plays an important role in our society, in getting people moving again. I get a buzz out of helping others, young and old and seeing them improve and achieve their goals. I believe exercise and being able to move to your full potential, is vital to your overall well-being.

My interests and sports I enjoy are, Surf Life Saving, Surfing, Running, Football, Touch, Waterpolo and Tramping, whenever I can find a spare moment! I have had a large involvement with Sumner Surf Life Saving club over the past sixteen years, racing at a national level and was very humbled to have recently been awarded New Zealand Surf Lifesaving Volunteer of the Year for my involvement within the organisation.

I am excited to have joined the talented Muscle People Team and look forward to every day, in a career that I am passionate about.
