I have always enjoyed fixing things, and love working with people, which is why I chose the career path of physiotherapy! I enjoy the problem solving aspect of using assessment to identify patients main problems, and then working with the patient to form a treatment pathway and goals to get them back to what they enjoy doing most! You can expect a high quality of holistic healthcare from me, which means I will address the injury as well as other bio-mechanical and contributing factors as the body works as a whole.
I studied at the University of Otago gaining a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Throughout my years in Dunedin my favourite part was the excitement of seeing patients for the first time, and the praise that I got from the patients following instant changes in their injuries which had positive effects on my practice. I knew then the impact we have on people in there day to day lives!
In my spare time I like to play sport. playing cricket, touch and golf in the summer, and snowboarding and basketball in the winter. I also physio on the weekends for my old school Christchurch boys' high which keeps my occupied. I have a passion for music as well, playing he piano in my spare time and love old school rap music.
