Whilst growing up, a large part of my life involved sports and keeping active. Unfortunately, this paired well with a range of different injuries. Although frustrating, it meant that I spent a large amount of time working with different physiotherapists. I always admired how a physiotherapist’s treatment could contribute to a quicker and safer return to function. This sparked my interest in the field and later led to me attaining my Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Otago.
During my training, I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of working with people to not only achieve, but exceed their goals. I am excited to help people return to and reach their full potential. The team at Muscle People aim to achieve this through use of up-to-date and well-researched physiotherapy techniques that are tailored to each individual.
When I am not working you will find me close to a gym, touch field or on the golf course during summer and on the rugby pitch or on the slopes during the colder months. I find that being fit and active is the best way for me to keep a healthy work-life balance.
